the future of bowling

Promise to Paige
Adam Barta currently holds the Guinness World Record for most pins knocked down in one hour (2,708). He is chasing World Record number 2 for the most strikes in one hour, which is currently 176. This record is very special to us because it will benefit local families through Barta Nation Families Foundation, and a beautiful young girl, Paige Lejeune, who is currently battling cancer and her family.

When Adam had the pleasure of meeting Paige and her family this summer he knew we needed to do something for this sweet family that inspires us daily. This was when he made his Promise to Paige to try and beat a world record and dedicate it to her. With the help of our local friends and family and our amazing ...bowling family we feel we can really make a difference.

Paige was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoastic Leukemia in January 2014, at the age of 13. After successfully battling the disease, Paige relapsed in September 2015. A true fighter, Paige battled her way into a second remission and received a bone marrow transplant in December 2015. Now, a third relapse in July 2016 has the Lejeune family praying for strength and courage as Paige continues to fight!

Barta Nation Families Foundation was formed in honor of Adam's father, Peter A Barta, who passed away on Christmas Eve 2012 after a courageous battle with colon cancer. Since his passing we have tried to live our lives in a way he would be proud and that is by helping others. Part of the proceeds from the event will be given to local families that have been affected by cancer. This is something we have done as a family on Christmas Eve the past few years. The families are given our personal message of hope, monetary gifts and food.

Thank you for taking the time to read this long message. We would appreciate any donations of Chinese auction baskets or gift certificates, but most importantly we would love for you to be there to support the event and hopefully see Adam beat another world record. Also, please add Paige to your prayers! If you cannot attend the event please watch the live stream, at
